Description of Service
LinkGuard Pro is a free, client-side broken link checker tool. The service allows users to:
- Scan websites for broken links
- Identify redirect chains and HTTP errors
- Export scan results in CSV/JSON formats
- Store scan history locally in the browser
- Schedule recurring scan reminders
Acceptable Use
You agree to use LinkGuard Pro only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the service to scan websites you do not own or have permission to scan
- Attempt to overload or disrupt target websites with excessive requests
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
Client-Side Processing
LinkGuard Pro operates entirely in your browser. This means:
- All link checking requests are made directly from your browser
- Your IP address and browser information may be logged by target websites
- You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to scan target websites
- Browser security policies (CORS) may limit functionality for some websites
Disclaimer of Warranties
LinkGuard Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of scan results
- Results should be verified manually for critical decisions
- Some links may not be checkable due to browser security restrictions
- The service may be unavailable at times without notice
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkGuard Pro and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from reliance on scan results
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to target websites
- Any other damages related to your use of the service
Intellectual Property
The LinkGuard Pro name, logo, and all related marks are the property of their respective owners. The service interface, design, and functionality are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
